South American Way1984-2004
American Warmblood Registry scores and remarks: Reseve Champion of Inspection (2004) 1st Premium 8's on Breed Type, Conformation, Shoulders, and Withers Topline, Quarters, Front/Hind legs, Carriage + Elasticity and Loose jumping - all above a '7' "Handsome Stallion. Ideal size with a nice rhythmical canter. Excellent type. Well shaped and set on neck."
An incredibly handsome and elegant sire of talented athletes. A natural for advanced dressage training, with a “10” canter and piaffe and passage that cause envy in seasoned competitors, his offspring cannot help but emulate their sire’s gifts. Charm, personality and sensible temperaments are the trademarks of this marvelous stallion. Competed successfully at intermediate level hunters, jumpers, eventing and dressage. A very well rounded stallion with unlimited potential for dressage. An excellent choice for heavier type mares.
His offspring include the 2002 PHR National Reserve Champion for Breeding, Savannah, as well as Sabrina, Southern Leigh, Smart, Sophia and the stallion prospect Showtime.
The flashy chestnut son, Showtime WF, showed us all how to free jump at the Inspection Demonstration on August 29, 2004. After having received his Provisional Breeding License, Showtime was feeling frisky and with a First Premium grading, we could not blame the elastic young man for showing us a fine turn of speed as well! His full sisters Savannah WF and Sabrina WF showed South American Way’s potential as a broodmare sire in two ways. First, they themselves receive First Premium grading. Secondly, their sons Ruben WF (by Rosentau) and Wyatt WF (by Weltmeyer) also receive First Premiums. Wyatt was awarded an overall ‘8’ and therefore attained the much sought after title of “Premier.” Judge Sonja Lowenfish called him, “little Mr. Weltmeyer” and was pleased to have seen such quality. Smart WF, had given the judges a pleasing presentation the day before in the Under Saddle Test and was also given a First Premium.
